O Christmas Tree

We just finished a very merry Christmas tree trimming party with some of our friends. The night included limonda con coco, fresh baked ginger cookies, playing holiday Sudoku and Catch Phrase, making ornaments and putting up the tree. The ornament project was a bit challenging since I have zero craft supplies here. So, my idea was to make snowflake ornaments out of Q-tips! They turned out pretty cute, don't you think?

Speaking of decorating trees, your freebies for today are virtual glittery gold ornaments that you can snag at this Delightfully Digital blog by Thena Smith. I used two of the ornaments to decorate this branch from Manuela Zimmerman's Wonder of Christmas kit at Scrapbook Graphics.

Thanks so much for the links to the freebies. Love the branch and am going to have to pick it up. How do you find these freebies?

The little snow flake Q-tips are so fun. Just goes to show what you can do with a few supplies and a big imagination! I love checking in often to see what is new.

Terry, the branch came from a kit that I paid for - sorry that it's not free, but I got it in a WONDERFUL sale that Scrapbook Graphics was having last weekend. I paid $3.60 for a wonderful kit that regularly costs $6.00. My goal is to try to find some free thing every day this month to share with my scrapping friends, so check back often! Merry Christmas from me!
